Competition Match TT – Tubular Tip

A tubular tip rod designed to have plenty of power throughout. If you need to fish at range, fish in harsh weather conditions, fish in amongst rough ground, strong tides or are targeting bigger fish. This is the rod to go for.

Competition Match HT – Hard Tip

Powerful butt and mid-section blend into a strong, solid carbon hybrid tip.

It is suited to fishing clean and mixed beaches and in strong tides at maximum range with bigger baits for larger species.

Competition Match GT – Medium Tip

The all-rounder, a solid carbon hybrid tip that lies between the HT and the ST. If you’re in the market for a rod that does it all, this is the one. Equally comfortable hauling in big fish such as cod and rays as well as scratching around after whiting and flatties.

Competition Match ST – Soft Tip

A rod to go for when fishing with lighter rigs and leads. Adept at casting delicate baits to long-distance without blowing them up. An excellent light, long-distance rod or close-quarter rod when looking for smaller species such as flatties and whiting in the winter and garfish and mackerel in the summer.
